For our Plant in Heerlen, NL, we therefore seek for an ambitious individual
to assume the role of:
    Scientist / Engineer Process & Formulation (P&F)
    (fulltime, m/f)


Your position & responsibilities:
The scientist/engineer P&F will develop new Controlled Release Fertilizers (CRF). You initiate, coordinate and execute projects related to new products and/or processes. Furthermore you will give technical support regarding CRF to the Scotts businesses.

Main duties and responsibilities to be accomplished:
- Management of the assigned team;
- Development and improvement of CRF products and production processes on a
  project base. You can be project leader or part of a large project team;
- Coordination and execution of projects within the given time frame and budget.
  This may include full implementation of new processes and products in
  production, including lab scale trials, tests, pilot plants and production trials;
- Support other departments such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain etc. within
  the Scotts organization with specific knowledge and/or expertise on
  CRF products;
- Generate new ideas and concepts for the commercial application of existing and
  new technologies.

Your Profile:
We are looking for a very motivated and ambitious person with:
- Education on academic level (master degree), preferably in the field of
  chemistry / chemical engineering;
- Experience in working in an internal R&D environment is a pre. Experience in
  working on a project base / project management is required;
- Good communication skills in English and preferably in one other European
  language.
